It is all surprisingly straightforward. The method appears to play well into honesty. Though one must admit Elidibus can be considered famed for being honest while not telling the whole truth.
This time everything is in order. The enchantment on the bracelet will, for a limited time, be able to block further effects from the arousal aspect of the curse. The bit about getting the ring removed from the finger seems beyond his power. At least not without a very brutal and pragmatic (though probably messy) solution.
Irhya probably doesn't want to lose a finger though.
Slowly moving his hand back, the Warrior of Light's attention may be brought back to Elidibus as he takes in a deep breath and lets it out slowly. A trace of sweat on his brow suggests a certain difficulty of the exertion even if his expression does not otherwise show it.
Maybe there would have been more power available to him closer to the new moon. But it would not have been worth swapping out for the 'difficult to control' part. Or the wait.
"There. It should prove adequate. Please try it on now." Naturally, the Emissary will make certain it works. "Even if you feel no immediate difference, I will be able to ascertain its success."
He did, after all, mention it would not do away with current symptoms.
