In dealing with the Ascians, so often their expressions are covered by a mask. Elidibus had shown a range of emotion before when he first appeared in Ardbert's body. Still, a notable expression is novel. In particular, the way the Emissary slowly lets one eyebrow arc high in the wake of Irhya's indignation.

And her explanation of why the curse is present.

"I see." There is recognition in his tone which suggests Elidibus remembers mention of the shops in question. He had of course avoided such a suspicious environment and decides not to vocalize this fact aloud. What follows is long regard and thoughtful ponderance as it becomes clear he's considering several options at that moment. And given the options are broadly 'help Irhya' and 'let her continue under the curse', that probably isn't immediately reassuring.

What Emet-Selch would or would not reap might be a small part of the matter considered. If his fellow Unsundered has had reason not to aid his Bonded Warrior of Light with this issue. "Why have you sought my aid? What of Emet-Selch? Or the Coven?" The latter seemed a more favorable solution. Surely the native Witches would be discreet?
